Gene Simmons & Shannon Tweed Spend Big On New House

After selling their Los Angeles mansion for $16 million, TMZ has reported that the rock legend Gene Simmons and his wife Shannon Tweed have secured a new property for the sum of $10.5 million. It actually seems they got a deal on the 7,000 square feet Beverly Hills mansion, as the original asking price was $11.5 million. The property features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, an upstairs library, and a home theater. Previously, Simmons had pledged to leave California to live a more peaceful lifestyle, wanting to get away from tourists looking for celebrities. He did this by purchasing a Las Vegas property; however, he recently explained to the Wall Street Journal that he decided to sell it soon after buying as his family is “not fans of 115-degree weather.

The 72-year-old is set to resume touring with KISS in December for the End of the Road World Tour. The farewell tour began on January 31, 2019, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, but had to be postponed due to worldwide events. The belief is that the tour will conclude in early 2023, and there has been speculation that former members will join the current lineup on the final show, with Ace Frehley and Bruce Kulick both expressing interest.
