GCW Owner Brett Lauderdale Responds To Zilla Fatu’s YouTube Disrespect

GCW Owner Brett Lauderdale Responds To Zilla Fatu’s YouTube Disrespect

Zilla Fatu recently went off on GCW and its owner, Brett Lauderdale, during a YouTube livestream, after a fan mentioned having met him at one of their past shows. The son of the late WWE star Umaga would say, “Man, f*ck GCW, man. Weird ass owner, man,” suggesting he didn’t enjoy his time working for the promotion.

And now Lauderdale has addressed these comments on X.com, noting that he booked Fatu despite his having only 13 matches under his belt and a messy split with Booker T. This seemingly indicates Lauderdale feels Fatu is ungrateful, as Fatu had been welcomed into the “GCW family.

26-year-old Fatu, born Isayah Fatu, always looked destined to pursue a career in pro wrestling, having been born into the renowned Anoa’i family. Yet despite early promise and family legacy, some have been reluctant to acknowledge the Fatu, who previously spent six years at the Texas State Penitentiary for aggravated robbery. Still, given his personal challenges, many hope he can follow in his father’s footsteps and eventually make it to WWE.
