Gail Kim Stars In Sultry New Video From LA Rockers Royalty Kult

Alternative metal outfit Royalty Kult came onto the scene in 2020 with their debut album, “Enjoying The End.” The record’s title track features Doc Coyle of Bad Wolves and God Forbid, and the band has shared the stage with Soulfly and Gemini Syndrome.

The band is gearing up for their sophomore release, “The Dying,”  and on Tuesday dropped a new video, “Separation,” which features former WWE and TNA/Impact Women’s Champion Gail Kim.

“Working with Gail was phenomenal and an honor,” said Royalty Kult frontman Josh Bauserman. “She is extremely kind, professional and a genuine person. I’ve been a pro wrestling fan literally my entire life, and Gail is one of my favorites. She was ahead of her time and is responsible for a lot of the in ring work we are seeing today.”

Bauserman said Kim’s style and look fit the song and video perfectly.

“Our song ‘Separation’ always felt like it had that 80s seduction vide to me, so I knew I wanted to have a woman in the video to create that moody, seductive feel I was looking for,” Bauserman said.

“My main objective in working with Gail was her comfort at all times. To accommodate her busy schedule our Director Ron Thunderwood (9Electric, Opiate For The Masses) and I flew to Orlando to shoot the video with her. All the performance scenes were then shot on a separate day in Los Angeles at The World Famous Whisky a Go-Go on the Sunset Strip.”

Earlier this year, Royalty Kult began writing and recording new material with Sahaj Ticotin (Ra, Starset, Nothing More) and Chris Collier (Korn). After sharing the stage with Gemini Syndrome in April to an overwhelming reception, they have headlined The Whisky twice.

‘Separation’ was produced and co-written with Sahaj Ticotin (Ra, Starset, Nothing More). For more information on Royalty Kult, click here.
