Last month, FOZZY frontman Chris Jericho was interviewed by Billboard and was asked numerous questions about the band’s chart and streaming success. “We never realized how important rock radio is to a band’s success until we started getting played on rock radio, and that started with ‘Judas,’ back in 2018,” Jericho said.

“We’ve had six Top 10 hits since on the mainstream rock charts. It really makes a difference for the band’s growth — people coming to the shows, the notoriety of the band. We’ve become a radio artist now. Every song we’ve released gets played across the country.”

Three singles from the band’s last full-length record, “Boombox,” cracked the Top 10 rock charts, and their latest single, “Spotlight,” hit the No. 1 spot on the SMR (Secondary Rock Market Mainstream Rock Chart), and also charted high on Mediabase (No. 13) and Billboard (No. 14). The video has also garnered more than 107,000 views on YouTube.

Over the weekend, the band celebrated another milestone, this time on social media as FOZZY passed 100,000 followers. Check out their announcement below.
