Fozzy made their second appearance at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday performing their hit song “Spotlight” as frontman and AEW star Chris Jericho sang the tune for his entrance. Jericho battled Hook for the FTW Championship.
The appearance at Wembley capped a highly successful weekend for Fozzy who performed a sold-out show Friday night at London’s O2 Academy Islington. Swerve Strickland and Flash Garments opened the show, and Strickland later joined Fozzy on stage for a rendition of the Rage Against The Machine classic, “Killing In The Name.”
“WEMBLEY ROUND TWO,” the band wrote via Instagram. ”THANK YOU to @aew for having us as @chrisjerichofozzy sang himself to the ring for another iconic #FOZZYHISTORY moment. ‘Spotlight’ is available to stream on ALL streaming platforms and we will see you across the USA this Fall.”
Hook regained the FTW title in the match after his father Taz stepped in to help even the odds against Jericho’s Learning Tree faction. Jericho and Hook had been feuding since March when Jericho offered his help to the rising star but was rejected.
