Jacques Rougeau was a notable heel for WWE during the 90s, and while he has been away from the spotlight for over two decades, he has remained involved in the business as a promoter and trainer. However, after recently revealing he was in significant debt having neglected his business due to his wife Nathalie’s cancer battle, he has disclosed in a new interview that he actually went bankrupt at the age of 65 last week, due to his company owing $70,000.
The second-generation wrestler initially made his name as part of the Fabulous Rougeaus tag team alongside his brother Raymond. Yet it was as The Mountie that he truly became a star, memorably working against the likes of Roddy Piper, The Big Bossman, and Bret Hart in WWE. Still, he would end up reverting to a tag team specialist in the mid-90s, working with Pierre Ouellet, now known as PCO, as The Quebecers in WWE and The Amazing French Canadians in WCW.
