Dr. Britt Baker hasn’t wrestled for AEW since November 2024, although initially, there was little concern, as it was believed she was working on other projects. However, that changed after PWTorch.com reported that there is “a lot of frustration with her” within AEW management, seemingly suggesting she may not have a long-term future with the company.
And now, according to former WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman, who has gotten into the scoops business via his Behind The Turnbuckle podcast, Baker is either leaving or possibly even already gone from AEW and headed to WWE.
At one point, 34-year-old Baker looked set to be the long-term face of AEW’s women’s division. Still, in recent years, she has been surpassed in status by Toni Storm, Mercedes Moné, and Jamie Hayter on the women’s side of the roster. Additionally, it’s known that just a few weeks before All In 2024, she was suspended due to a backstage altercation involving MJF and his girlfriend, Alicia Atout. Therefore, considering this incident and the fact that she hasn’t been seen in months, it seems believable that Tony Khan could have made the difficult decision to let the AEW original depart.
