Life as an indie wrestler can be hard, although when you’ve had television exposure, it will typically increase how many bookings you get. However, in disappointing news, Nixon Newell, who worked for WWE under the name Tegan Nox until last November, has revealed she is having difficulty getting booked, telling Wrestling In Middle, “it’s a nightmare.”
30-year-old Newell has actually had two WWE runs, with her first being between 2017 and 2021, although it was severely derailed due to injuries. Still, she received a second shot at the big time in 2022 and was even handpicked by Becky Lynch to work a high-profile match on Raw, which unfortunately failed to live up to the high expectations many had. Therefore, when her second release came, while unfortunate, few fans were completely shocked.
