AEW commentator Jim Ross is currently recovering from surgery, having been diagnosed with colon cancer. However, while the vast majority of people are sending the former voice of WWE their best, it seems not everyone is so caring. This is because, during a new interview with Wrestling Epicenter, Eddy Mansfield has taken a disgusting shot at Jim Ross, shamefully saying, “God is getting even with him now.”
For those unaware, Eddy Mansfield, known as “The Continental Lover” during his wrestling career, was once the most hated man in pro wrestling after he appeared on ABC’s 20/20 and exposed the business, which just wasn’t done in 1985. Mansfield claims he did this to improve the industry, although many believe he was just disgruntled at not being used as a big star. Subsequently, he would be blackballed, as nobody was willing to book him, effectively ending his career. Still, considering his signature moves were a power slam and front face lock, it appears fans didn’t miss out on much.
