November 13th is the sad anniversary of Eddie Guerrero’s death. However, despite him passing away 18 years ago, aged just 38, fans have not forgotten his influence on the wrestling business, and their memories of the legendary performer remain strong. And to mark the occasion, he has spent most of the day trending on Twitter/X as fans share their tributes. You can check these out for yourself by clicking here.
Guerrero wrestled all around the world and got over everywhere he completed, but it was in WWE he became an internationally recognized star. His career would peak in 2004 when he won the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar at No Way Out. Tragically, the following year, he suffered acute heart failure, and the wrestling world was robbed of an all-time great. Posthumously, he would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and was represented by his widow, Vickie, and his two young daughters, Shaul and Sherilyn.
