Former model Sheila Kennedy posed in Penthouse and was the 1983 Pet of the Year. She wrote an autobiography in 2016, “No One’s Pet,” and also appeared in the 2021 documentary “Look Away” which highlights misconduct in the music industry.

In her book, she detailed allegations against Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose and now has filed a lawsuit against the frontman for assault over an alleged altercation that took place in 1989.

TMZ broke the story, which Rose has denied through his attorney.

TMZ reported: “Kennedy says she met Axl at an NYC club in February of that year and went back to a private party back at his hotel suite, which she notes was attended by a bunch of people who were allegedly doing drugs.”

“She claims Axl put the moves on her, which she says she was fine with at first — that is, until he allegedly cleared the room so that it was just her, another female model and a pal of his left. Kennedy claims she witnessed AR have aggressive relations with the other model before fleeing to another bedroom with Axl’s friend … before things allegedly went south.”

Kennedy went on to claim that Axl became enraged with the other woman and kicked her out before coming to the other room to discover Kennedy was still there. She then claims the singer dragged her by her hair back to his bed and s*xually assaulted her.

Kennedy claims the alleged assault has “had lifelong emotional, physical, psychological and financial impacts” on her life.

Axl Rose’s lawyer Alan Gutman said the story is fabricated.

“Simply put, this incident never happened,” he told TMZ. “Notably, these fictional claims were filed the day before the New York State filing deadline expires. Though he doesn’t deny the possibility of a fan photo taken in passing, Mr. Rose has no recollection of ever meeting or speaking to the Plaintiff, and has never heard about these again fictional allegations prior to today. Mr. Rose is confident this case will be resolved in his favor.”
