Earlier this week, news broke that Tammy Sytch, best known to wrestling fans as Sunny, had been arrested and charged twice for illegally possessing a weapon as well as a charged for terroristic threats. However, at the time-specific details on what occurred had not been confirmed. Now, though TMZ has reported that based on court documents, it appears the WWE Hall of Famer threatened to kill her current boyfriend with a pair of scissors.
Apparently, a police officer witnessed the incident, and he believed she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. TMZ would also confirm that she is still currently incarcerated, which is understandable given her long criminal record and the nature of the offence.
Sunny’s life has been plagued with legal issues, and she spent most of 2019 incarcerated. She was subsequently arrested again on July 13, 2020, while still on parole and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license, eluding a police officer, and violating a restraining order. This resulted in her being incarcerated again until June 9, 2021.
