During this week’s episode of Dynamite, Deonna Purrazzo returned to AEW television to confront Mariah May and declare herself All Elite, confirming she had officially joined the promotion. The 29-year-old was previously with Impact Wrestling but had become a free agent at the conclusion of 2023. And now, after Tony Khan acknowledged her signing on social media platform X, she responded by saying that joining AEW was “a dream come true.“
Purrazzo previously looked destined for the top after signing with WWE in 2018. However, due to budget cuts and management not feeling she was ready for television, she would be released just two years later. Still, she wouldn’t let this discourage her and subsequently joined Impact Wrestling, becoming one of their biggest stars in the process and clearly catching Khan’s attention.
