Davey Boy Smith Jr. is said to be very serious about making the transaction from pro wrestling to MMA. he has recently begun training with Jake Hager/Jack Swagger, who made a successful transition from pro wrestling to MMA after a victorious debut in Bellator back in January.
No deal with an MMA organization is in place as of right now. However, some serious conversations are happening.
Smith Jr, is currently under contract with Major League Wrestling. But, MLW has said that they will support him and will allow him to do whatever he would like in regards to his MMA career.
