Earlier this month, rock fans got a surprise confession from Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl when he revealed he had become a father to a daughter born outside of his longtime marriage to Jordyn Blum. The couple has been married since 2003, and they have three daughters together.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved as we move forward together.”
Later it was revealed that Grohl retained a divorce attorney prior to announcing his new daughter. Now, Grohl’s ex-girlfriend Kari Wuhrer has blasted him as a “scumbag” and “serial cheater” to TMZ. Wuhrer dated Grohl in the late ‘90s, and she claims that the singer/guitarist pursued her while in a relationship with snowboarded Tina Basich.
Wuhrer said she learned of Grohl’s “two-timing” when she called in to the Howard Stern Show at the time. Grohl apparently yelled at her on air and then never spoke to her again, though they have crossed paths when their children were at the same playground. “He would just look at me like I didn’t exist,” Wuhrer said. “I just felt like I knew he was scumbag after that.”
