Travis Barker’s daughter, Alabama, began pursuing a rap career earlier this year, and the 19-year-old released a new single/video, “Vogue,” earlier this month that features her famous stepmom, Kourtney Kardashian. An occasional vaper, Alabama was apparently advised earlier this year to quit the habit as it would be detrimental to her voice.
She did promptly quit vaping, and according to TMZ, the aspiring rapper had a medical scare involving nicotine withdrawal and was rushed to a Los Angeles-area hospital. TMZ reported that Barker quit vaping a month ago “which led to her feeling panicked and unwell one day while all alone. Out of concern for her health, we’re told AB called 911 and was transported to a local hospital.”
She was advised that quitting cold turkey can lead to the withdrawal. Alabama celebrated her birthday on Christmas Eve and shared a picture of a birthday balloon and a large collection of flowers that she received from well-wishers during her hospital stay.
