In heartbreaking news, prior to tonight’s SmackDown taping in London, WWE ran a graphic remembering Darren Drozdov, better known by his ring name Droz. No cause of death has yet been announced for the 54-year-old, and our thoughts are with the former WWE and NFL star’s family during this time.
Drozdov joined WWE in the late 90s and became known for his unique persona and high-energy style in the ring. Unfortunately, his promising career was tragically cut short due to a severe neck injury during a match in 1999 with D-Lo Brown, which left him paralyzed from the neck down. Despite this devastating setback, Droz remained resilient and positive, inspiring many with his unwavering spirit and determination.
