Danzig is getting ready to hit the road for a series of shows that will see the band perform their classic debut in its entirety. “Danzig” came out in 1988, and it sold more than a million copies in the U.S. on the back of the band’s most well-known tune, “Mother.”
Produced by Rick Rubin, the record also spawned the classics “Twist Of Cain,” “She Rides” and “Am I Demon?”
Earlier this month, Danzig made an announcement via social media that the band would have to move their Las Vegas and Southern California shows due to a lack of available tour buses.
“Due to the current Tour Bus Shortage we are forced to move the Las Vegas & SoCal Shows to the end of the Tour Sept. 22 & 23 in order to secure a Tour Bus. The Las Vegas Show will remain in the Same Venue for the Friday Sept. 22 date but the SoCal Show had to be moved to The Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA for Sat. Sept. 23.”
Danzig has done select festival dates this year as well as some shows with the Misfits but this Fall marks the first solo tour he’s done in a while. Special guests for the trek include Behemoth, Twin Temple and Midnight.
