Last month, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor revealed he’s suffering from a variety of physical ailments that have him pondering how many more years he can tour. Taylor went on to tell Rock Feed that it’s likely he only has another five years of being able to travel the way he does currently.

“I’ve already said that physically I maybe have five years left, but at the same time I go out of my way to really try to take care of myself,” he said.

“Now I have a lot of f*cking miles on me. It’s hard for me. People don’t realize this, but when I walk, I’m almost in constant pain. It’s the knees, it’s my feet. I have a broken toe on this foot. I have gout across my feet. It gets up into my joints and sh*t. Yeah, it’s tough. I’m not as nimble as I used to be. I’m not 35 anymore. It’s hard. But there are ways to do shows that don’t require being that crazy now.”

Speaking of Taylor’s health, the Slipknot frontman canceled his solo band’s appearance at Saturday’s Aftershock festival in California due to an apparent injury that he sustained on stage in Los Angeles. His band and crew are also dealing with C*vid.

“To my Aftershock friends & family – I am so saddened to inform you that we will not be able to perform at Aftershock today,” Taylor wrote on social media.

“During our Los Angeles show this past week, I fell on stage and sustained a significant injury to my knee. On top of this, a few members of our band and crew have been impacted by C*vid, and as a result, we are unable to perform. The health and safety of our team and the festival attendees is of utmost importance to us.”

“We are deeply disappointed by this situation but are hoping for a fast recovery for everyone involved. Thank you for an amazing tour – and we can’t wait to rock out with you soon.”

Taylor has previously had surgery on both knees and also his spine. He is currently on the road in support of his second solo record, “CMF2.”
