The majority of the pro wrestling world was devastated when Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, passed away last month, aged 71, due to acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack. And now, proving how many lives he touched, Jimmy Van of Fightful has reported that Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, Triple H, Ric Flair, Eric Bischoff, Jimmy Hart, Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, DDP, Sean Waltman, Dean Malenko, RVD, Ted DiBiase, Brutus Beefcake, Paul Wight, Adam Copeland, Jacques Rougeau, Jim Duggan, Tito Santana, Conrad Thompson, Bam Margera, Theo Von and Kid Rock all attended his funeral.
However, it was noted that Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, was absent, which, given they hadn’t spoken for years, likely doesn’t come as a surprise. Additionally, it was confirmed that, contrary to other reports, Donald Trump was not present. Seemingly, the confusion came from the President acknowledging the funeral of the two-time WWE Hall of Famers on Truth Social, leading people to believe he was attending.
Following Hogan’s passing, WWE would ensure his legacy and memory were respected via ten bell tributes on SmackDown, Raw, and NXT. Still, some fans haven’t been able to look beyond his past high-profile controversies and political views. Therefore, social media has been a very hostile place for Hulkamaniacs and those who want to remember Hogan’s wrestling career rather than his personal life, although perhaps over time that will lessen.
