CM Punk has long championed rock bands typically of the more punk variety. He’s shown his support for several acts including Rancid, The Ramones, H20, Bouncing Souls, The Clash, Misfits, Operation Ivy and of course the band responsible for his entrance music, Living Colour.
There’s one legendary rock band, however, that Punk isn’t a fan of. In her latest edition of “The Segment,” Jackie Redmond asked WWE superstars to “name something universally loved that they dislike.” While most who participated answered with something about food or something else lighthearted, Punk said: “The Beatles. 100 percent overrated. Phony boy band that was manufactured and went through sh*tty phases. ‘We’re hippies now. We’re psychedelic now.’ F*ck you, Sergeant Pepper.”
Redmond replied laughing, “Oh my God! Not the middle figure to Sergeant Pepper!”
Punk is gearing up for a Triple Threat match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins for Night 1 of Wrestlemania.
