Chris Jericho’s KISS Cover Band Kuarantine Drops New Track

The love affair between Chris Jericho and his Kuarantine bandmates and non-makeup era KISS continues to roll on. The band has tackled numerous KISS tracks in the studio, all of them deep cuts including “No No No,” “Heart Of Chrome,” “Silver Spoon,” and “Love’s A Deadly Weapon.”

This week the band announced another run of shows this summer, and the gigs coincide with the release of their take on another KISS deep cut, “Good Girl Gone Bad.”

The song comes from KISS’ 1987 album “Crazy Nights.”

“The mission of Kuarantine has always been to pull the forgotten gems from the non-makeup, ’80s KISS catalog, give them a modern polish, and unleash them on current mainstream rock radio, so they can get the respect they deserve,” Jericho said in a release.

“With that mindset, we feel we’ve hit another home run with the 1987-released, underrated Gene Simmons classic ‘Good Girl Gone Bad.’ It’s got more hooks than a tackle box, with a great chorus and brain-melting solos. This song is the perfect springtime tune to crank in your car and rock out with your unmentionables out! And with two Top 20 singles in our repertoire, we’re stoked to get to the Top 10 and beyond. It’s time to get KRAZY with KUARANTINE!”

During the pandemic, Jericho pitched the idea for a tribute to KISS’ non-makeup era, and he made it a reality teaming up with Luke Bryan drummer Kent Slucher, FOZZY/Trixter bassist PJ Farley and Klassik ’78 guitarist Joe McGinness. They have since also added guitarist Charlie Parra.

The band has played Chris Jericho’s Rock ’N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea multiple times, and they took their act on the road last summer for three dates in the Midwest. The band will play live again this summer on July 5 in Chesterfield, Michigan; July 6 in Franklin, Ohio; and July 7 in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. Ticket info can be found here, and “Good Girl Gone Bad” is available now on all streaming platforms.
