Chelsea Green was released by WWE on April 15th, 2021, despite having signed a three-year contract just five months previously. While some wrestlers would take a break to regroup, the former Impact Knockouts Champion wasted no time planning for the next chapter of her career by applying for multiple trademarks.
One of them was “50 Shades Of Green,” a podcast that she launched on April 22nd and so far has released three episodes. However, Green has revealed on Twitter that she received a cease and desist letter over the use of the name. Subsequently, she announced she has renamed her podcast to “Green With Envy.”
It hasn’t been revealed who the cease and desist letter was sent on behalf of. A Google search reveals 50 Shades Of Green is used by multiple businesses, so it could be from several companies or individuals. Hopefully, for those of us with inquiring minds, Green will provide additional details on a future edition of her now-renamed podcast.
