Leading up to WrestleMania 41, the feud between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair appeared to be becoming all too real after the women deviated from their script during a live segment on SmackDown. This occurred when Stratton mocked Flair’s multiple divorces while Flair made fun of her voice and claimed her boyfriend, Ludwig Kaiser, had been sliding into her DMs.
And now, in an article written for ThePlayersTribune.com, the second-generation star has revealed that Statton’s divorce comment genuinely “rocked” her because she didn’t anticipate it coming.
After the controversial segment went viral online, WWE removed it from all of its social media platforms, with it unknown whether this was at the request of Flair or simply because management recognized it wasn’t a good look. Additionally, Kaiser stoked the fire on X by sharing a clip of Shawn Michaels from the 90s telling Diana Hart Smith, “Do not flatter yourself,” indicating he had no interest in Flair. Therefore, when the German disappeared from WWE television for several weeks, some fans tried to link it to him having backstage heat due to his tweet, although this was never proven.
