Buff Bagwell Hospitalized Following Serious Car Accident

It’s been reported by the Cobb County Police Department in Georgia that on Sunday, August 16, 2020, former WCW star Buff Bagwell lost control of his Chevrolet Tahoe. He hit the median, then a metal fence and collided with a free-standing bathroom at the Cobb County Transit bus station. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries. As of writing, we don’t know how his recovery is progressing. Investigators believe the cause of the accident was that Bagwell was impaired by prescription medication at the time of the accident.

This is the second serious car accident that Bagwell has been involved in. On April 23, 2012, he suffered a seizure while driving and was hospitalized after breaking bones in his neck, face and jaw, and required breathing and feeding tubes. Despite having four plates inserted in his face, he was able to resume wrestling on the independent circuit.
