On Saturday night, it was unfortunately reported that former WCW star Buff Bagwell had been arrested yet again for DUI as well as speeding in Cobb County, Georgia. According to the report, he was arrested on November 16 and released the following day. However, Bagwell has now taken to X to reveal that while it is accurate that he was recently incarcerated for 24 hours after losing his temper, he hasn’t broken his sobriety, and the DUI part of the charge is from three years ago.
Almost two years ago, 53-year-old Bagwell moved in with DDP to finally conquer the drug and alcohol addictions that have plagued his adult life. And while he did suffer a severe setback that resulted in him checking into rehab, he has previously disclosed he has been sober since August 26, 2022. Hopefully, he can now stay clean, as he is clearly a good guy when sober and still has something to offer the business, having been a big star during the 90s boom period.
