Bryan Danielson’s Arm Injury Is “Worse Than We Thought”

Sunday night saw Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada battle it out in the main event of Forbidden Door, and unfortunately, it was subsequently revealed Danielson suffered a broken right forearm during the bout. Danielson, though would be optimistic during the post-show media scrum, saying he expected to miss 6-8 weeks. However, that has now been thrown into doubt, as Danielson’s wife, Brie Garcia, has shared the x-ray of the injury on Instagram, with it captioned “worse than we thought,” making this recovery timeline now seem unrealistic.

Danielson has been pretty banged up as of late, having revealed he suffered a torn labrum in his match against MJF at Revolution in March. This explains why he had only wrestled once since that match when the Blackpool Combat Club fought The Elite in an Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing in May. And now it seems Danielson is set to miss even more time from the ring, with All In this August looking doubtful for the former WWE star.
