Naomi cashed in her Money In The Bank contract at Evolution to win the Women’s World Championship and looked set for a long run as champion. However, last week, it was announced she wasn’t medically cleared to wrestle Iyo Sky, sparking a great deal of speculation online with pregnancy being mentioned.
And now that it has been announced on Raw that this is the case, and she is seven weeks pregnant, Becky Lynch has taken to X to hilariously call her irresponsible for getting pregnant while champion.
For those unaware, Becky Lynch was involved in a very similar situation to Naomi, as after retaining the Raw Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36, she would stop competing. Subsequently, she also revealed during Raw that she was pregnant and that the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, which was won by Asuka the prior night, was secretly for the vacated championship. This would see both wrestlers hug in the ring, with fans believing this was a rare moment of spontaneous, genuine emotion, although it was later revealed that Asuka knew ahead of time.
