Andrade Has A Humorous Response To Walkout Claim

After his shock WWE firing, Andrade made a brief AEW comeback, ambushing Kenny Omega and aligning with the Don Callis Family. Yet the storyline stalled amid revelations of a possible year-long non-compete clause, which seemingly invalidated his re-signing with AEW. Still, the popular luchador is free to wrestle abroad and captured the Crash Heavyweight Championship last month.

Nevertheless, according to Dave Meltzer, during Friday’s The Crash’s XIV Aniversario show in Tijuana, Andrade left the venue early due to being “unhappy,” which has led to new claims of unprofessionalism. And now, acknowledging this story, Andrade has taken to X to joke, “I went to that Chinese place called HK!” which is known in Mexico as a gentlemen’s club that prioritizes the company of women over its food menu.

36-year-old Andrade wrestled in AEW from 2021 to 2023, flirting with main-event status until injuries and a backstage clash with Sammy Guevara derailed his momentum. Despite these setbacks, it is understood that he and Tony Khan parted on good terms, as evidenced by his quick re-signing. Therefore, he is expected to return to AEW television as soon as his U.S. non-compete agreement officially comes to an end.
