AJ Styles Plans To Retire After Current Contract With WWE Expires

AJ Styles was speaking to Lillian Garcia on her Chasing Glory podcast and said that his current WWE contract would be his last. He plans on retiring so unless things change, it rules out a return to New Japan or wrestling for AEW.

“I had no doubt that you know this is what I was going to do for my career. It really was. And you couldn’t have told me any different. And I can tell you that the contract that I signed, here in the WWE, is my last. This is it for me. This is where I’m going to end my career no matter what happens. I got to, you know? I want to be there for my kids.”

Styles is making the best money of his career working for WWE, and his merchandise is always in demand so he should be in for a comfortable retirement. Hopefully, though that is still some time away, and he still has many years left on his contract.
