Recently it was reported that Rush’s AEW contract was set to expire, prompting much speculation about his future. Subsequently, it has been reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is interested in him; however, AEW’s financial offer is far bigger. And now the former ROH World Champion has taken to social media to acknowledge these reports, stating fans will hear from him soon, seemingly once his future has been decided.
34-year-old Rush has been off AEW television since May, with some sources saying he was having issues with his visa, others though have dispelled that claim leaving his absence a mystery. Regardless though, he seems healthy as he recently worked for AAA at their Triplemania Tijuana event, teaming with LA Park against Psycho Clown and Sam Adonis.
