AEW Original Announces He Has Resigned From The Promotion

Two months ago, it was reported that AEW Vice President of Show and Creative Coordination QT Marshall had signed a short-term contract to remain with AEW, and it was expected a longer deal would be arranged at a later date. However, Marshall has now announced on X that he is departing the promotion at the end of the year when his contract expires. While not pushed as a star on television, Marshall was considered instrumental to the AEW product due to his backstage and coaching work.

38-year-old Marshall broke into the business via the Monster Factory in 2004, and he worked the independent circuit for several years before having spells with both ROH and WWE. His big break would come in 2019 when he joined AEW as a wrestler and associate producer on the recommendation of Cody Rhodes. Away from AEW, he has been working for Lucha Libre promotion AAA and, until earlier this month, was their Latin American Champion. Additionally, he is the co-owner and trainer of The Nightmare Factory alongside Rhodes and former WCW star Glacier.
