Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler Responds To Disturbing Allegations

Earlier this year, some disturbing allegations were made against Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler.

The legendary frontman released his memoir, “Does the Noise in My Head Bother You,” back in 2004. Tyler’s book included a passage in which the Aerosmith singer comments that he “almost took a teen bride,” adding, “her parents fell in love with me, signed a paper over for me to have custody, so I wouldn’t get arrested if I took her out of state. I took her on tour with me.”

Court documents obtained by Rolling Stone allege that Tyler convinced the mother of Julia Holcomb to grant him guardianship when she was just 16-years-old, and that she lived with him and engaged in a sexual relationship with the singer between 1973 and 1976.

Tyler is being accused of sexual assault of a minor, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The Aerosmith singer has now requested the suit’s dismissal in a new court filing and claims that his accuser “has not suffered any injury or damage as a result of any action” by him, according to a new Rolling Stone report.

In addition to saying their relationship was consensual, Tyler also claims he had immunity as her legal guardian when the allegations occurred, using a portion of her own claims against her.

Tyler alleges Misley’s “claims are barred in whole or in part by Plaintiff’s consent” and “because of immunity or qualified immunity to Defendant as caregiver and/or guardian.”
