Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion is having an unexpected run as WWE’s leading authority figure, and a big part of that is because of his outstanding mic work. However, during one of many backstage segments he was involved in on Raw last night, he would slip up and accidentally call Drew McIntyre “Drew McInfart,” as you can watch below.
Despite Peace correcting himself, fans quickly ridiculed this on social media, resulting in “Drew McInfart” trending. Pearce would thankfully see the funny side and acknowledged his flub with the below tweet.
Both Pearce and McIntyre will be hoping that “Drew McInfart” is forgotten by the time fans can attend WWE shows again because if not, it is likely Tropicana Field will be full of signs reminding them.
