Earlier this week, rock legends AC/DC kicked off their first Australian tour since 2015 playing to an estimated 80,000 fans in Melbourne. The band recently announced tour dates into 2026, and despite the age of guitarist Angus Young (70) and singer Brian Johnson (78), the group is showing no signs of slowing.
To coincide with the Australian trek, AC/DC played an Aussie favorite for the first time in more than 34 years, “Jailbreak,” which originally appeared on the Australian version of “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.” The song wasn’t available in America until 1984 when it was released on the EP, “74 Jailbreak.”
“Jailbreak” was a fairly common song in the band’s set throughout the ‘80s and early ‘90s and was often the tune that Angus did his infamous but now-retired striptease routine. Fan-filmed footage of the band playing “Jailbreak” can be seen below.
