Following the shameful attack by Raja Jackson on Syko Stu, real name Stu Smith, during Knokx Pro Wrestling’s Saturday show, fans have had the army veteran in their thoughts and prayers. And while it was claimed on social media he had already been discharged from the hospital and was back home with his family, it appears those reports were sadly premature.
This is known because his nephew Jonovan Smith has shared a photograph of his uncle on Facebook showing he is still clearly hospitalized, worryingly noting in the caption that his recovery is “not as positive as I had hoped.” Additionally, Jonovan would place the blame on Rikishi’s Knokx Pro Wrestling, seemingly for not doing more to help, and allowing the match to continue so Smith could be pinned despite him having been punched over 20 times by a trained MMA fighter.
Following the video going viral, which showed the son of UFC legend Rampage Jackson delivering multiple fierce blows to the defenseless Smith’s head, fans have been wondering how they can help Smith and his family. Whether this means a GoFundMe will be launched in the coming days, when medical costs are better understood, remains to be confirmed. However, this may not be required, as YouTuber Mr. Beast has already offered to help, saying on X, “Genuinely, if anyone connected to him knows of a way I can help, please reach out. If his kid is a fan or I can help with hospital bills, idk but I’ll help.”
