WWE Teases The Return Of Uncle Howdy

WWE Teases The Return Of Uncle Howdy

Uncle Howdy, played by Bray Wyatt’s real-life brother Bo Dallas, vanished from WWE television shortly after Wyatt was taken ill last year. Therefore, following the former WWE Champion’s tragic passing, most assumed the gimmick was no more. However, at the conclusion of Peacock’s new Bray Wyatt documentary, “Becoming Immortal,” WWE teases Howdy’s return when a lantern appears in a post-credit scene, and a voice says, “Run,” before what appears to be his silhouette materializes.

The character Uncle Howdy made its WWE debut on October 28th, 2022, during the episode of SmackDown, in which the creepy masked man interrupted Wyatt via video. Subsequently, fans would try to figure out who was behind the disguise, eventually identifying him as the previously released Dallas. And while it initially seemed Wyatt and Howdy were set to face off in a future high-profile match, the pair seemed to align at the 2023 Royal Rumble when Howdy dove onto Wyatt’s prone opponent, LA Knight.
