Jade Cargill’s Pro Wrestling Future Confirmed

Jade Cargill’s future has been a hot topic of conversation among wrestling fans ever since it was revealed she was departing AEW, with most expecting her to sign with WWE. And now confirming this to be her destination and indicating they have big plans for the former AEW star, WWE has posted a breaking news article on their website announcing she has signed a multi-year deal with them. Whether she will be part of NXT or join the main roster still remains unknown, but as the piece notes she will be training at the Performance Center, it appears her television debut isn’t imminent.

“Cargill, a standout performer who has earned accolades as an industry-renowned talent, will begin training today at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.”

Cargill’s wrestling career began in 2019 with a WWE tryout. Yet, despite being offered an opportunity with the company, she decided to learn her craft on her terms. This led her initially to both AR Fox’s and Heath Slater’s wrestling schools before she eventually joined the Nightmare Factory, where she trained under QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes. Subsequently, she would make her AEW television debut in 2021 opposite Cody and Brandi Rhodes, which resulted in her being presented as a major star and given a Goldberg-esque winning streak.
