With Triple H taking over talent relations and creative, he has wasted no time fixing the mistakes he feels were made regarding talent releases. So far, bringing back Dakota Kai, Karrrion Kross, Dexter Lumis, Top Dolla, and B-Fab, among others. Further, he re-signed Johnny Gargano to the delight of fans, and it’s believed he has smoothed things over with Naomi and Sasha Banks. Seemingly though, he and his team aren’t done yet, because, according to Andrew Zarian of We’re Live Pal, there has been talk about re-signing Bronson Reed, who is currently wrestling as Jonah.
“I’ve heard one name over the last few weeks, and that’s Jonah. Great G1, I talked to a friend over there casually in Connecticut, he’s a name. Bronson Reed got the sh*t end of the stick with his positioning. He’s very good, he has the size, he had this awesome entrance with the background. I don’t know him at all personally. I don’t know if anything behind the scenes that happened, anything beyond that, but I can tell you there are people very interested in him because of his talent, his performance in the G1. Jonah looked like a future superstar while in NXT and held the brand’s North American Championship at one point. However, just over a month after wrestling a dark match before SmackDown and on Main Event in the ThunderDome, he was released by WWE. The belief is he didn’t impress Vince McMahon and was therefore included in the next round of budget cuts. Since then, though, he has wrestled for Impact Wrestling, PWG, and New Japan, most recently featuring in the G1, where he faced Kazuchika Okada, Lance Archer, Jeff Cobb, Bad Luck Fale, and Tom Lawlor in singles action. Additionally, he teamed with Bad Dude Tito in a series of highly rated tag team matches.
