WWE Reportedly Interested In Bringing Back Former Retribution Member

Since Triple H took control of creative and talent relations for WWE, he has regularly brought back wrestlers previously released due to budget cuts. And now, according to Fightful Select, he is currently looking to re-hire Mia Yim, who wrestled on NXT under that name and on Raw as Reckoning. With the former Retribution member having become a free agent after departing Impact Wrestling just last month.

WWE has interest in bringing Mia Yim back to the company. Yim was released by WWE in November 2021 after a run on WWE Raw as Reckoning, and being swapped between brands without appearing anywhere. Yim actually didn’t wrestle any matches for 15 months while being parked by WWE and having her non-compete run out. Fightful Select

Yim started wrestling in 2009 and slowly built up her name by wrestling in countless indie promotions. And while she did work enhancement for WWE and appeared as a Rose Bud in 2014 and 2015, her big break would come when she joined TNA as a member of The Dollhouse before winning the TNA Knockouts Championship. However, after not signing a new contract, she’d become a free agent and pursue her WWE dream as an entrant in the Mae Young Classic tournament in 2018. And while she’d only make the second round, she impressed enough to get signed, with many predicting she’d become a big star in the coming years.
