WWE Releases Multiple NXT Talents

WWE Releases Multiple NXT Talents

WWE commenced a mass round of talent cuts on Thursday, which saw Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, Shelton Benjamin, Riddick Moss, Emma, Aliyah, Rick Boogs, Top Dolla, Elias, Shanky,  Mace, and Mansoor all let go. And now, with main roster talents seemingly out of the way, the company has been informing NXT talents they are surplus to requirements. With Quincy Elliott, Dabba-Kato, Dana Brooke, Bryson Montana, Daniel McArthur (who hadn’t appeared on television yet), Kevin Ventura-Cortes, and Yulisa Leon all informed that they’ve been released.

Typically, NXT wrestlers have 30-day non-complete clauses unless they previously competed on the main roster. So, in October, all of these talents except Brooke and Dabba-Kato can look at signing elsewhere. And while some may make WWE regret their decision to let them go, history has proven others drift out of the business.
