On Friday, news broke that WWE had released Rezar, Akam, Paul Ellering, Cedric Alexander, and Blair Davenport from their deals. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Sonya Deville was informed that her contract, which expires in a few weeks, would not be renewed. And now confirming there were more releases than just those initially reported, Isla Dawn has shared an Instagram Story saying, “See you in 90,” while Fightful Select has now reported Giovanni Vinci is also gone.

34-year-old Vinci, real name Fabian Aichner, first worked for WWE in 2016 and would be signed the following year. Subsequntly, he would go on to form the villainous Imperium stable with Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Alexander Wolfe. And while Vinci would win the NXT Tag Team Championship twice with Kaiser, he never received anywhere near the success of his tag partner on the main roster, having recently lost two incredibly quick matches to Apollo Crews on SmackDown, one of which was barely four seconds.
