With Triple H now in charge of who goes into the WWE Hall of Fame, he is being sure to get some notable omissions inducted. Among those that fans have been wanting to see inducted for many years is John Tenta, who is best known to fans as Earthquake. And now, just a few weeks after he was posthumously included alongside tag partner Typhoon, Tenta’s daughter Joanna has appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show, revealing she is in training herself to step into the ring.
Tenta started out as a freestyle wrestler and played college football before pursuing a career in sumo wrestling. This eventually led him to the world of pro wrestling and to work for All Japan. However, his most notable success came in WWE, where, at one time, he was pushed as a main event heel, memorable feuding with Hulk Hogan. Tragically, he would pass away in 2006, aged just 42, although he is still fondly remembered by those who grew up watching him.
