Wrestling Fans Come Together To Help Kevin Nash Reach Goal For Deceased Son

Just over a month ago, Kevin Nash’s son, Tristen, passed away aged just 26. With it later confirmed, he died following a cardiac arrest after suffering a seizure that seemingly stemmed from him going cold turkey from drinking. Nash would subsequently go on to call alcoholism “my cross to bear.” So on Saturday night, Nash would request his followers subscribe to his YouTube channel, which his son worked on in order to get the 100,000 YouTube plaque. And proving that wrestling fans can be amazing when they put they aren’t infighting, this target was smashed in three hours.

For anyone who hasn’t heard it yet, Nash recorded an emotional podcast in tribute to Tristen just days after his passing, and while it is incredibly tough to listen to, especially when he talks about the negativity and trolling he has since received on social media and even via telephone it should be listened to. And while there nothing is worse for a parent than losing a child, all that can now be hoped is that Nash and his wife can come to terms with their grief and continue to live their lives honoring his memory. With the support of kind wrestling fans like the ones who subscribed, likely more to them than can be imagined.
