With Triple H Forced To Miss Raw Another D-Generation X Member Will Be Running The Show

Earlier today, it was reported that Triple H wouldn’t be backstage at Raw or NXT this week due to testing positive for the dreaded rona, leaving many fans worrying due to his highly publicized heart condition. Thankfully though, multiple sources have confirmed is feeling fine and is keeping in contact with writers and backstage producers remotely. Nevertheless, with Triple H missing, someone needs to lead the show, and it’s been revealed by PWInsider.com that Road Dogg will be picking up this massive responsibility, with it noted Bruce Prichard is supposedly absent.

For those who have asked, with Triple H unable to be in Oklahoma in person for tonight’s Raw, PWInsider.com is told that WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events Road Dogg is the point person in charge at tonight’s taping. He was backstage working under Paul Levesque this past Friday at Smackdown. We are told that currently, Bruce Prichard is not backstage at Raw.

Road Dogg only recently returned to WWE, having been released due to budget cuts ten months ago, coinciding with Triple H losing power following heart failure. However, once Triple H took control of talent relations, he promptly re-hired his former DX stablemate Road Dogg and gave him an executive position, replacing Jeff Jarrett as Senior Vice President of Live Events. And while he has had to deal with his own heart issues following a heart attack in 2020, the former Intercontinental Champion hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down, having helped produce Ric Flair’s Last Match and working backstage for Impact Wrestling’s Emergence event in between trying to get hired by Tony Khan.
