Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey Gets Extended Trailer

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey Gets Extended Trailer

Apparently, blood is sweeter than honey. At least that’s what horror fans will tell you, and by the seemingly hot-blooded lust for more lovable childhood icons turned rampaging killers, that’s not entirely untrue.

When Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, the latest slasher from debut director and writer Rhys Frake-Waterfield, was announced last May, the internet was abuzz with curiosity over everyone’s favorite honey-hungry bear going full-blown horror. After all, it was only 5 months prior when A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepards’ 1926 book, Winnie the Pooh, entered public domain, no longer sharing honeycomb with Disney.

Centered on Christopher Robins returning home after having left for college, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey finds a ravenous and blood-crazed Pooh and Piglet terrorizing your typical college co-eds, spilling blood across the Hundred Acre Woods as our victims must find a way to end their terror.

Originally premiering in Mexico on January 26th, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey looks to slash its way into theaters on February 15th after extending its original one-night event to a major worldwide release, thanks to its massive online popularity. And what better way to wet audiences appetite for the sweet stuff than with an extended trailer!

Check out the trailer below, and make sure to catch it in theaters beginning February 15th.
