Former NWA Star Kamille Has Signed With AEW

Last November, it became known that Kamille, who held the NWA World Women’s Championship for a staggering 812 days, could soon be a free agent, with her NWA contract expiring at the end of the year. Subsequently, it was been confirmed that she opted not to renew with Billy Corgan’s promotion, and it was reported WWE had offered her a contract to join NXT. However, Fightful Select has now reported that she actually opted to sign with AEW and, therefore, is offically All Elite.

“Fightful Select has learned that the former NWA World Women’s Champion is slated to join AEW, and is under contract with the company.”

31-year-old Kamille, real name Kailey Latimer, had been with the NWA since 2018 when she debuted as Nick Aldis’ insurance policy. Since then, she has become a star in her own right and even appeared on AEW television in 2021 as part of the NWA’s working relationship with Tony Khan’s promotion, where she watched Leyla Hirsch and The Bunny wrestling each other to earn a title shot against her at NWA EmPowerrr.
