Roman Reigns last defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at SummerSlam this past August, and since then, he has been recuperating from injury while enjoying the perks of his part-time contract. Now, though, it has been reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he is set to return to the ring in the near future, with a match at Crown Jewel on November 4th set to take place.
“As expected, the next Reigns match will be 11/4 in Saudi Arabia. He will be back on television in the time leading to that show to promote the match”
Dave MeltzerWhile it hasn’t officially been announced yet, many believe Reigns will be facing AJ Styles based on the current direction of WWE television and his feud with The Bloodline. Of course, things can change at any time; nevertheless, Styles makes sense with the company wanting to put on a marquee match in Saudi Arabia while saving rematches with the likes of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso for Big 4 premium live events.
