Wardlow Was Involved In A Car Accident Prior To Dynasty

Wardlow is one of AEW’s homegrown stars and is currently part of the Undisputed Kingdom stable. And while he didn’t have a match at Dynasty, he appeared on the show during the AEW International Championship bout between Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly. However, it seems he was fortunate he had been able to be there, as he has revealed on X that before the pay-per-view, he was involved in a serious car accident. Thankfully, it appears he wasn’t badly hurt, although he did disclose he was “banged up.

“The devils been doing everything to stop me lately… still hasn’t learned he can’t. Banged up but I’m alive thank you to those that have reached out. Appreciate you all”

36-year-old Wardlow broke into the business in 2014, and while he attempted to sign WWE during the early days of his career, he ultimately wasn’t hired. Still, he didn’t give up on his pro wrestling dream and would join AEW in 2019, where he was put alongside MJF as his bodyguard. From there, he became a prominently featured talent, and at one point, he looked like he could be a future world champion following matches with CM Punk and MJF. Still, he has since cooled off, although he remains just one major program away from delivering on his potential.
