While not pushed as a star on television, QT Marshall is instrumental to the AEW product due to his backstage and coaching work. And now it has been confirmed by Fightful Select that the current AAA Latin American Champion has signed a new deal with the promotion; however, it is only a short-term agreement for the remainder of the year.
“QT Marshall got his contract extension, but it’s a short term one...Marshall’s deal with AEW will go through 2023.”
Fightful Select38-year-old Marshall broke into the business via the Monster Factory in 2004, and he worked the independent circuit for several years before having spells with both ROH and WWE. His big break, though, came in 2019 when he joined AEW as a wrestler and associate producer on the recommendation of Cody Rhodes. Additionally, he is the co-owner and trainer of The Nightmare Factory alongside Rhodes and former WCW star Glacier.
